circa 1861, with round 4 1/4in. barrel poorly roll-stamped 'WESTERN ARMS CO NY.', solid iron frame, plain six-shot cylinder, single-action mechanism, smooth flared walnut grips, brass trigger guard and 'Whitney' type hinged under-barrel rammer, strong traces of finish remaining
